Salon Teez started like many business ideas...sitting around a table with friends having a few drinks with someone saying, "you know what would be a great idea?"
Here's our deal, my wife and I are both hairstylists and have been for...well let's just say when we started... "Miami Vice" was a popular trend look, Frankie said to RELAX and Paula was a Laker girl. Both of us have been performing artist for Redken 5th Ave, and one of us still travels the country and Canada working with stylists and salons. But that's another story. Attending numerous hairshows, sharing ideas with clients, and hearing what stylists believe is comfortable, trendy and affordable clothing...we created Salon Teez. We realize most salons have a dress code, ours does, but you may have casual Fridays or Saturdays or maybe you just want to let the world know on your day off that your a hairstylist! Some of our shirts such as "got color?" even help suggest add-on services to help with your business behind the chair!
Everyone pretty much wears some form of t-shirt. Go to any department store and they're everywhere! Some are cool, some....not so much! But those shirts are mass produced in some factory somewhere made with who knows what and by who knows who. Salon Teez strives to be different. In our travels we came across some cool people, who like us are small business owners and are right here in the U.S.A. This was awesome! We can get U.S. products which in turn helps save the environment...ever think how much fuel is used to ship from another country? We won't even go into the known challenges that have recently been in the news with imports from other countries. Salon Teez strongly believes in saving on costs and production times without sacrificing quality for YOU!
We have been asked if we will do hair shows such as Premier in Orlando or Birmingham or some others. At this time we are looking at presenting at some shows but nothing is solid at this point. If we do, we will add a calendar page to salonteez.com so you can check it and see where and when we'll be close to you so you can visit us in person!
